Order was later then they said, had to ring twice. Forgot most of our time orders Korma is full of water and meat is dry! Never ordering again

I stupidly tried a different place last time and it was nowhere near as good as Khasturi. I won't make that mistake again.

I know it was probably a busy Saturday night but the portions were very small with a lot of oil on top.

Online it claimed the order would be with us by 6.45, it arrived at nearly 8pm. The kukd staff were helpful on the phone and told us it would be 5-10 mins, however it took around 25 mins. The food from this restaurant is usually very good, however it was surprisingly bland this time. Hopefully just a one off as we’ve previously not had any issues with food or delivery

I ordered 4 courses tonight and was very disappointed with the chicken tikka masala and prawn bhuna. I received half the quantity in both and as for king prawns, I couldn’t see really any. They did send replacements but the replacement chicken tikka masala has only a few small pieces of chicken and was mainly sauce. This is a shame as the food and portions where so much better in the past. There is definitely something not right here. I cannot recommend them anymore.

Their is no doubt that this curry is amazing however i was disappointed to see that half the chicken korma had leaked in the bag when delivered to me. I love this place i was just disappointed about the curry leaking as i spent £30 in total to find this

The food arrived about 40 minutes late. The quality was poor - only a couple of prawns in the vindaloo, the tikka was far too sweet, as was the Korma.

Ordered online for collection. It was ready when I arrived which was welcome. I had the Special mixed grill and Khasturi starter. Good quality ingredients with a fairly decent flavour. Could have done with a bit more spice. They threw in a couple of popadums which was very welcome. No hesitation in recommending this place. Seemed good value for money.

Delivery was very quick, food hot and very tasty.

The food is of good quality however the last order I received was really salty. It also didn’t have the additional green chillis I requested as usual which meant it wasn’t as spicy as I like it. Disappointing.

Delivery took 1 hour and 50 minutes on a Tuesday evening and when arrived it was a bit of a disappointment. The chutney tray was two polystyrene cups, half filled with mango chutney and yogurt with a small bag of onions. Onion bhagi's were ridiculously greasy. Curry was OK and the rice was nice.

My partner has been ill and is not is not usually a great fan of Indian food. However, we were tired from travelling back from holiday and ordered just as a way to feed ourselves. nnSuffice to say, despite her tonsilitis and her cold sores, my other half thoroughly enjoyed her (very mild!) curry. Commendations don't get much better than that!nnDelivery time was earlier than we expected even though we ordered right in the middle of a Saturday evening.nnRecommended.

Great food as always, however, I was disappointed with the £2 delivery charge even though I had ordered over the minimum spend. I hope they do not charge me for delivery next time.

The Tandoori king prawn chilli masala was superb, very enjoyable, nicely contrasted with green chilli, thinly sliced green pepper and a quarter cut tomato with sliced onions. No need to go anywhere else the Khasturi is simply the best. Great!

Yep, this was the first time that we'd ordered from here and it won't be the last! I had the Bakhara lamb and special fried rice and it was both delicious and delivered on time and am looking forward to ordering again from them.

The food was delivered spot on time by the usual friendly driver. The vindaloo was firey hot, spicey and delicious. With quality and consistence as good as this I keep coming back. There is no need to go anywhere else.

Food was delivered on time with friendly service, they threw in some extra snacks and even a side dish :) the chickpea dish was too salty for our taste but otherwise everything was very good and made excellent leftovers. Thank you, we will definitely order again.

Superb curry. The vindaloo was very flavoursome, firery hot and spicy. Delivery was spot on-time and the driver was welcoming and he also stamped my loyalty card (After 5 stamps you can order free of charge, any main dish) I have been using Khasturi for many years and there is no need to go anywhere else.

great food but late again. Add at least 30 mins to the time you're told your food arrive. It's worth it but don't order if you have things to do or a busy evening

The food here is really good and normally so is the service but the past few times we have rdered here weve had to wait an hour and half or more! So by the time the food is here its a waste of money as its cold :( used to be very good and quick (half an hour) but delivery is terrible now

Can't explain how nice and good food and service

If you don't want to be the person to deliver food then get someone that does. Dont know why, but delivery person was not happy or friendly, might have been a one off event. Everything else was good as was the quality and timing.

Second time this has happened, food great, but unfortunately arrived 45 minutes before the time I wanted it so one of us wasn't even home yet. Also the free vegetable dish was absent from the bag which was disappointing.

Good food last night. Order was very easy to place and arrived quickly.The free side dish special is a bit confusing as to how it works online, eventually I gave up figuring it out but it arrived with the order anyway!Will buy again :-)

I can only say that the Korma, Pathia and Vindaloo dishes were spot on...the peshwara naan was GREAT and Sides were not greasy(bhaji) and the Pilau rice was warm and tasty. Rather than pop in or call it through, this time I ordered on line with special instructions and Jay @ Khasturi called to re confirm special instructions and it all turned up on time and hot.....So until I reorder - ENJOY!

We ordered midweek and got a free side dish, which I specified a choice in the comments and got what I asked for. Arrived in good time and was hot enough.

I ordered our meal for 7 p.m. but it turned up at 6:15. They took it away again, but as my husband predicted, they clearly just kept it warm and brought it back again as it wasn't piping hot when it was brought back. Apart from that, it was delicious as always. Unfortunately the online deal has gone; 20% off was a nice touch, but we did get a free side dish.

The Khasturi is by far one of the best Indian takeaway establishments in this area.The food is always top notch and the staff are always friendly.This is the first time I ordered from them on line however. The only thing I would say is that it may be a good idea to receive a text when the food is ready for collection (unless it's being delivered) We were given a half hour time to collect and I can imagine that our order was prepared almost instantly because when we got it home it wasn't as hot as when we usually order by phone. I am guessing it had been waiting for us to collect for some time, giving it time to cool down substantially.Apart from that, I can never complain about this food.

Food always arrives hot and sealed properly and at the time requested. Bonus at the moment is 10% off and a free potato dish which was lovely. Mint sauce was a bit spicy this time though (ouch).

The food from Khasturi is consistantly of a very good quality and their delivery is almost always prompt. There was only one instance where the delivery was later than advised and we are quite happy with that situation. We have been ordering food from them on a regular basis for the last few years. Khasturi are always our first choice for home-delivered curries.

Chicken tikka balti was a bit over hot; hubby's able to take spice but last few meals he's ordered have been a little over spiced. Other than that, tasty as always.

The food as always was excellent. The lamb was lean with little fat and the portion sizes were very good. It could have been a little faster in delivery but that is the only mild complaint I have.As always Khasturi delivered very good food.

Hubby ordered the chicken tikka biriyani and it was way too hot; stuffed to the gills with chillis and not enjoyable, but the rest of the meal was great as always. Please Khasturi, cut down on the chillis. Thanks.

The food from Khasturi has always been good but our last order was 30 minutes late, the driver got lost - apparently his GPS couldn't find my road and as such the food was luke warm, nearly cold. Great food but shame about the delivery service.

Third time we have used khasturi, and will use again without hesitation. My wife said it was the best Tikka Massala she'd ever had!

One of my neighbours told me about Khasturi, so we thought we'd give it a go. Very pleased. Did turn up half an hour earlier than I'd asked, but not a problem. The food was piping hot and delicious. Where it shows one chilli though, be warned it may still be quite hot.

Food from this place is great, but I don't think we'll be ordering again. We've ordered twice and had to wait 90 and 120 minutes respectively. Complained and was offered 50% off next time so that's nice. But still I'm an irritable chap so I got a little upset. Can't complain about the food though, they really do know how to cook. Just wish they would employ a couple of young delivery bikers.

Chicken Tikka Masala may not have been chicken as the meat was too dark and grisly, being tough to cut. The delivery was good, complimentary poppadums with pickles and a chefs special side dish were included. Not the best Indian meal, but certainly not the worst. Will use them again!

Ordered takeaway (with delivery) on a Tuesday night. Nothing wrong with the order but it took its time to arrive. That said, it was delicious and the menu offers some unusual dishes which are well worth trying.

Have had problems with Khasturi delivering the food late, sometimes taking well over an hour. Today though the food came in 40 minutes. I tried a new dish today Garlic Chicken and wasn't too impressed. The chicken was dry and hadn't absorbed the garlic flavour. I have come to expect better from Khasturi. So I am still concerned that demand is starting to effect quality. Still overall I was fairly content with the meal but as I said I have come to expect a little more than that from Khasturi.

Look as always with Khasturi the food was great. However the delivery times have got longer and longer. When I first started getting my food delivered it was between 20 and 35 minutes(they are only a mile away). Lately though they often don't even manage to deliver within an hour. Today's delivery time was 75 minutes from point of order online.Look I don't want people to stop ordering from them, they do great food but Khasturi if you read this(and you should)bring it back down to an average of 45 minutes. Over an hour is too long and basically not competitive with other restaurants.

The food at Khasturi has maintained a pretty high standard for some time now. However recently the delivery speed has not been good. This time it took 50 minutes and has taken over an hour on another occasion.I am sure I have noticed a change in the staff that work at the shop and since this time things seem to have been a little more lax. I hope they pick it up soon because I do like there food and I wouldn't like to have to go elsewhere just because it takes so long to get to me.

As usual with Khasturi the delivery was prompt and with a smile. The food was piping hot and well presented and packaged. The meats in the tandoori grill were succulent, delicately spiced and delicious. Accompanied by warm, soft naan bread the fresh flavours were just what I needed. I have tried many curries and foods from Khasturi now and they are all superb and great value. Keep up the great work guys, highly recommended.

I have ordered from here many times and have been more than happy. But I ordered one last night and have food poisoning today.

First time I'e tried this curry house, but don't think I will again. There wasn't anything wrong with the food or the order but it just wasn't great. They were prompt however and served plenty of food.
