Amazing as usual, had these for years and they're still the best curry house in Portsmouth.

Excellent service, lovely food. Complimentary shots and provided containers for take out xx first time there but definitely will be returning xxx

Went to blue cobra for a date night yesterday, atmosphere was good and the interior is very nice •Food was good, good portions •Service was good, check up on you and see if you need anything, friendly staff •Good pricing for the amount you get •Loved it

The curry, rice chutneys poppadoms etc amazing, delivery bang on time but sorry if I'm seen as ignorant,, I thought paneer was cheese

Have used Blue Cobra for year, takeaway and eat in. Never had a bad experience, staff are amazing and attentive the food is lovely. I recommend the Buffalo Bhuna.

Absolutely delicious meal as always, loads better value for money than using a delivery service and you know the restaurant is getting more of the money. Beautiful quality meat always from these guys, lovely dishes on the specials. You can't go wrong here.

Just ordered and received a meal for 2 from the blue cobra. Unfortunately due to mistakes from the staff,we got a meal that for some reason had been to hilsea. No where near us. This made the starter warmish. The main warm and the experience poor. Spicy yes. Heat was lacking. Outcome we won't be using them again. Shame

Everything was great APART from the food being delivered over an hour early! The restaurant needs to check what delivery time has been chosen.

First time ordering from here in a while, Chicken korma was bland and gritty with water pouring off the plate, King prawns in my dish looked as though they had been beaten out of there shells, And chewy is an understatement, We order an Indian takeaway at least once a week, Never again from here. Biggest waste of money and far more expensive than we normally pay.

Only took 25mins for food to arrive, great food and kind service. First takeaway normally eat in the restaurant where the staff are friendly and know us well.

Delicious food. Came really quickly and was all piping hot. The staff followed social distancing very diligently by stepping away after knocking and leaving the food. Were very polite too. Bhajis in particular were delicious and portion sizes were generous.

Order from blue cobra many times always very happy but for some reason this time the food was not up to standard. Naan bread was burnt and the curry was so much hotter than usual that I could not eat it. As soon as I took a mouthful It gave me hiccups it was so hot.

Food was superb and the value was excellent. Will definately use again.

As always we were very pleased with our meal from our "local", the Blue Cobra.

Food tasted fantastic. It had got slightly cold, but we are used to delivery drivers being unable to find us via sat nav as they end up at the wrong end of our road.

Ordered here based on previous reviews and was dissappointed. It was late (even comparing to the latest delivery time). The onion bhajis were almost solid. the curry was cold. Positives are that it tasted nice. Based on my experience I will revert back to using India Gate.

always fresh, hot and tasty, never been disapointed! wont use anyone else as the blue cobra is the best in town, the freshest ingredients in the salads no limp lettuce leaves here!

Everything up to the usual good standard we have come to expect. Arrived about 20 later than booked, but apart from that everything was just right. The salad with the Tikka was delightfully fresh.Thank-you!

This curry was excelent value for money and is what you would expect from a more pricier restaurant.

We have been ordering curries from The Blue Cobra ever since it opened, and they have always been good, but we have noticed that the curries we have had over the past two months have been even nicer than usual, with the sauces tasting even fresher, and a greater variety of vegetables in the vegetable curries.

This was a midweek order and arrived faster than the forecasted time. The Chicken Korma was particularly good on this occasion, and the 15% introductory discount made the meal very good value for money.Thank-you gentlemen.

i had to wait an hour and a half for 2 curries and a rice. when it eventually arrived they had got my order wrong. curry was barely warm in temperature, not happy, will never eat here again.

could not fault the take away. 1st one we have enjoyed in ages..will be going back for more that is certain

Cold food, over priced, rude staff, give it a miss.

Tried this as a recommendation. Rude staff, cold food, unapologetic and elitist. Totally overpriced and not worth the effort, try the Golden Curry instead, always consistent and friendly.
